Dear Blog

I feel like I should be posting more but I haven't really done much to post about. Since I last posted there was a big thunderstorm in town on Sunday night. It didn't bother me much since I could barely hear it over the fan in my room but my cat got scared. Between the fan and the storm she got so stressed out that threw up on my bed by my foot in the middle of the night. The fans were removed on Tuesday so she is back to normal. All the carpet in the apartment was cleaned even if the water didn't get to it.

Bad washing machine

I decided to do my laundry last night since my two roommates weren't home and we seem to need to do our laundry around the same time. So I was in my room playing a game when I decided to check if my laundry was done. As I walk to my door barefoot I feel water all over my carpet. Lucky me the washing machine leaked again. Last time it leaked was sometime after Christmas while I was still visiting my parents. Of course my room got the most water in it. The water went all the way across the little hallway we have in front of the washer and dryer into the kitchen, my room, my roommates room next to mine, a little went into both our bathrooms, and into my other roommates room that's on the other side of the machines.

Blah

So last night I saw my cat dragging her behind on my floor. She's never done that before. I didn't think much of it at first, just thought it was cute, but I decided to look up what might cause it just in case. Apparently when dogs or cats drag their butts it might be because of worms, full anal glands, a string stuck in their bum, or a dirty behind if they have long hair. My cat has long hair and when I tried to see if it was dirty or if there was string sticking out she squirmed and ran away from me. I kept my eye on her last night and she didn't drag her butt again after using her litter box so I think she was slightly constipated. I've been watching her all day today and she hasn't dragged her butt once so I'm not going to worry about it. By the way her name is Kit and she will be turning 3 in about 3 weeks. Maybe I'll get her a new toy for her birthday.

Kick Ass and Date Night

I saw Kick Ass the other and it was not what I expected it to be. I was expecting something funny, light, and fun. Kick Ass was all action and violent with lots of blood. It's not that I dislike violence I just think it's a little messed up having an 11 year old girl killing grown men and seeing the men shoot at the kid. I don't think I loved it but I didn't hate it either. It did a good job of keeping my attention. I think I would give it a 7/10.

Date Night had two great actors Tina Fey and Steve Carell. It wasn't as funny as I thought it would be but it was entertaining. I liked the scene where their car was stuck to a taxi cab and they had to drive around like that. I would give it a 7/10 too.

Jewelry Making

Today I tried out jewelry making. I made my first necklace.

Pottery

I had my pottery class today. I started taking pottery last November and have been addicted to it since. It's so much fun and the people there are nice. Today I brought home my finished sugar bowl.

Ramune

I went to Borders yesterday to look at some mangas and noticed they were selling a Japanese drink. I'm always up for trying Japanese candy and drinks so I decided to buy one even though I didn't know the name. I looked it up earlier today and found out it's called Ramune.

First Post

I got bored today and was looking at some job ads. I'm looking for an internet marketing job and some of those involve social media networking. For some of these jobs you have to know how to use Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, etc. So I find a social media job ad that someone is looking for a person to be their head blogger and that person has to know how to use social media networks. I think to myself I know how to do that. I'm reading the details and notice they want samples of some of the blogs you've worked on. The problem is even though I've read about blogging and studied it a bit in school (I have a degree in Internet Marketing) I've never actually had one to call my own. I still applied for the job but I had no samples to give thus reducing my chances of getting it. So I've decided to create my own blog. In addition to providing blog experience for any future job ads this is also something to do when I have nothing to do.

I will be blogging about anything and everything I can think of thus the name N'impote Quoi Et Tout. The name is in french because anything and everything was already taken and I can use this blog to improve my french. If no one reads this that's fine I don't expect anyone to. If someone does read it leave me a comment.
